Why I Started
Coaching
Helping others has always come naturally to me — not by giving more advice, but by helping people make sense of what they already know.

Over the years, I noticed something important:
Most people aren’t stuck because they lack information.
They’re stuck because they don’t know how to apply it in real life — especially when emotions, responsibilities, and life pressures get in the way.
​
That’s why I became a coach — not just in money, but in life, career and business.
My work is about helping people move forward with clarity, confidence and control — without overwhelm, guilt, or pressure.
MY STORY
I’ve been a financial advisor for over 13 years, but my journey into this work didn’t begin with numbers or credentials.
​
It began with loss, responsibility and survival — and it became my calling, not just work.
​
I migrated to Canada in 2008 and became a mother to a beautiful daughter with Down syndrome. Long before that, I grew up in the Philippines in a middle-class family with two sisters. I was the youngest.
​
While I was in university, my life changed forever.
​
I lost my mother to kidney failure. At the same time, my father lost his job during the economic crisis of the 1990s. Our family faced overwhelming financial strain — struggling to pay for a kidney transplant, weekly dialysis and basic needs.
​
There were days I couldn’t even afford transportation to school.
​
My mother suffered for only a year before she passed away.
​
Years later, my father suffered a stroke and thankfully recovered — but we eventually lost him due to a tragic incident in our own home. After his passing, we discovered he had accumulated significant credit card debt, something he had carried alone because he didn’t want us to worry.
​
Those moments taught me something I carry to this day:
Financial stress doesn’t just affect money.
It affects health, relationships and the people we love most.
​
What hurt the most wasn’t just the hardship — it was realizing how much could have been different with clarity, structure and support.
​
That’s when I knew this wasn’t optional for me.
It was personal. It was my calling.
Why I Do This Work Differently
I didn’t enter this industry to sell products or overwhelm people with information.
I entered it because this is my calling — not just work.
I’m here to help people move forward, feel supported and create real, lasting change in their lives.

Over the years, I’ve invested heavily in learning — mindset, money, personal growth, leadership and coaching. But more importantly, I learned how to integrate it.
